What are things you do when you can’t sleep that end up making you stay up longer when you try to go to sleep
I usually end up drinking lots of water and think about the world because I get bored then end up not being able to stop thinking

moreover if u have trouble sleeping, then avoid doing other activities on bed(like eating, drinking, watching TV).. and instead go to bed/use bed only when u feel sleepy.. If u practice that for some time then it will become ur acquired reflex! as a result Whenever u go to bed u will start getting sleepy ^^

Hmm I usually watch boring youtube videos like mukbangs, asmrs, podcasts and pass out like that. Its better for me to listen to something as I'm trying to fall asleep rather than my own thoughts. Sit-ups and foot claps also do the trick when I'm desperate.

I usually browse MaiOtaku or read various articles or Ebooks I have collected or have intellectual discussions with western friends.

meditation and deep meditation are 2 different things :P
i suggest u to look for its steps on net! deep mediation is focussed around sleep and dreams XD

That’s the thing I have looked at for meditation watched videos and have tried and uh, it really wasn’t for me tbh. My brain is like eternally active and analyzing the world around me and I’m only blank when I’m doing something. A lot of times I have to be like physically moving to stop thinking, it’s weird. Other than that meditation frustrates me to much tbh or focusing on something is just to hard
