Are there any Yugioh fans here?

Ah yes, I remember the good 'ol days of 2003-2004 when Yu-Gi-Oh! was all the rage in the US. Fun game, and fun show despite 4Kids censoring the fuck out it. I'll admit I feel a bit nolstagic going through my old cards and watching the series on Netflix.

I play casually, but I do use some of the newer stuff. Even tried a crazy idea of Mecha Phantom Beasts running Lair of Darkness. It's not bad. Kind of gimmicky, but it's better than I thought. Still needs some tweaks though. I like running the rouge to low tier decks. Much more fun :D Here's the current build:

@Foo fighter, what I found hilarious about the 4kids dub was that they used "being sent to the shadow realm" as a cover for death. But when I was 10 and watching Yu-Gi-Oh, the idea of being trapped in a "shadow realm" where the malevolent spirits of the cards would torment you for all eternity scared me more than vanilla death itself.

I am forever a Yu-Gi-Oh fan. Yugi FTW. I enjoy Infernities, Quasar, Ancient Gears and Gladiator Beasts just to name a few decks I love.

I had a good laugh when playing Master Duel before leaving for work. As usual I was using Destiny Board, however I was going up against an opponent that had a strategy based around trolling and stalling the game as a means of frustrating me for their entertainment. Ironically I would end up reverse trolling them as it turned out neither one of us could deck out or deplete the other's life points. Typically that would mean I would win by default by spelling out FINAL and winning the duel. Yet something went hilariously wrong with Destiny Board causing it to glitch out and fail to place the final letter thus winning me the game as it should have. Rather I some how broke Master Duel's logic by spelling out "FAIL" instead of FINAL. This lead to a perpetual stalemate! https://i.pinimg.com/564x/22/5e/36/225e361e1007b9fb323febf293fc3531.jpg Neither one of us able to deck out, reduce life points to zero, or win by any other condition outside of forfeit. Even though direct communication with the other player isn't typically supported in game, I simply imagined what the other player must have been saying. Them having came to do a bit of trolling only to suffer a PENALTY GAME of endless tedious boredom while I stood across from them menacingly with an incomplete Destiny Board spelling out FAIL as a constant loop of dramatic orchestral music blared! Muhaha! WELCOME TO THE TRUE SHADOW REALM FOOL!
