I think just the new engine of world is a good enough excuse to bring back as many old monsters they want. Just look at Deviljho.

WHEN YOU HAVE OVER 750 HOURS PLAYED AND GO BACK TO DEAL WITH THE LOW/HIGH RANK QUESTS BUT DNT KNOW WTF THE BLUE COMPLETED MEANS >:u (Apparently it means you did all but have some hidden, yet I've talked to everyone)
