DACA

They know Trump will actually do something about it and likely succeed. Keep in mind this really is the first POTUS in 30 yrs who actually doing something and not just talking. So I do have to give Trump credit.

One of the things that annoys me most about DACA is just how much of a priority Democrats and so called "progressives" are making it. There are so many issues and big things going on with actual citizens (both born here and legally assimilated) that why did we shut down for a few days OVER ILLEGAL PEOPLE?! I mean DACA legalization can be used as a good bargaining chip with Dems for any number of things (although this shutdown proves that Dems have long since abandoned negotiating in good faith). All of the talks and dealmaking were met with smear and deceit and when that didn't work a shut down. Trump has been amazing at getting the Democrats to show their true colors and the hollowness of the virtue signaling. DACA like the Second Amendment is an issue that only riles up the hardened liberals and democratic voters yet anybody middle ground our conservative leaning is going to be driven away. Its a losing issue for them and they are beating the drum with way too much vigor. I have seen a few stories of these illegals protesting and acting like a bunch of snowflakes acting like they actually have rights here (especially that they should be the priority) and half the country thinks you're racist if you don't just let them carry on or agree with them. If they want rights go through proper channels and become a citizen. Don't wave your native countries flag IN AMERICA and act like you should be the priority in AMERICA.

I see the thread a couple of days ago and I was going to touch it since it seem only people against the system were replying but I know first hand basis people that have DACA and you guys be surprised of how moat of the stuff you listed here they do not do or take advantage of I'm not naibe I know with everything there are people that abuse the system but at least 50% of these people do not take advantage of the system and inatead are providing dor their families and paying taxes like Any other citizen or resident living in the states Also most of this will most likely not affect our day to day lives if they keep the program or not like it did not affected us when Obama created it
