'Yuki Yuna wa Yusha de Aru - Yusha no Shou' (Yuki Yuna is a Hero: The Hero Chapter) https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/8/83013.jpg This is it's second season. It's another one where the only ones who can fight monsters are young girls. Maybe I'm not the best person to review those. I'm clearly not their target audience >_>

"Ito Junji Collection" Ep.01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/7/88366.jpg That kid was creepy bad, but not exactly terrifying in any way. The ending of the episode though, that was nasty. The synopsis says it's a collection of horror stories. Makes it hard to review since it'll be a different story every week.

"Grancrest Senki" (Record of Grancrest War) Ep.01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/4/89883.jpg Mages, demons, magic knights, and a world drowning in chaos. So far nothing spectacular from in terms of character personalities, but it's well animated and has a lot of potential. This could turn into something interesting. Looking forward to the next episode.

"Sanrio Danshi" Ep.01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/13/89890.jpg Sorry ladies, this one looks seriously yaoi, so you're gonna have to review it yourselves. Synopsis The project's premise follows Kouta Hasegawa, a high school boy that loves the yellow Pom Pom Purin dog. By mere coincidence, he ends up attending the same school as Yuu Mizuno, a boy who likes the bunny My Melody. Yuu tells Kouta that there's nothing to be ashamed of for liking Sanrio's cute characters. Together, Kouta, Yuu, Shunsuke Yoshino, Ryou Nishimiya, and Seiichirou Minamoto learn to accept their love of the characters instead of feeling embarrassed.

"Citrus" Ep.01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/manga/3/185907.jpg First impression was this seemed targeted at teen girls... and then I saw the clearly yuri scene at the end of the opening... Well, there's no guessing where this one is going. I must have missed that in the synopsis. And damn, that was a pretty heated kissing scene... x2. Well this is a drama/romance anime. There seems to be plenty of both.... Damn. Synopsis Fashionable Yuzu imagined the first day at her new school she transferred to after her mother's remarriage a bit differently; she didn't know it'd be an ultra-strict and conservative girls' school. So instead of a sweet high-school romance, she butts heads with the stern student council president Mei—who turns out to be her new stepsister. And she has to learn that hate and attraction are often not that far apart.

"Slow Start" Ep.01 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/4/89982.jpg The characters are excessively cute. It's a comedy/slice of life and seems to be a very cute and energetic show. The characters seem more like they should be in elementary school than high school. Geez... Excessive cuteness is an understatement. Synopsis: Hana Ichinose is a normal 16-year-old high school student. However, there is something different about her: She enrolled in high school one year late! Her classmates are unaware of this, and Hana will have to work hard to catch up with everyone else.

So far it seems most of the shows this season are directed at girls.

"Mahoutsukai no Yome" (The Ancient Magus' Bride) Ep.13 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/6/88473.jpg Sure sure, wait to the every end of the episode to and hit us with that surprise twist. It's this anime's second season. If you missed it last season, I definitely recommend this as one to watch. Synopsis: Hatori Chise is only 15, but she has lost far more than most. With neither family nor hope, it seems all doors are closed to her. But, a chance encounter began to turn the rusted wheels of fate. In her darkest hour, a mysterious magus appears before Chise, offering a chance she couldn't turn down. This magus who seems closer to demon than human, will he bring her the light she desperately seeks, or drown her in ever deeper shadows?

"3-gatsu no Lion" (March comes in like a lion) Ep.34 https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/images/anime/3/82899.jpg This one is also continuing this season. It started pretty slow paced, but last season got pretty dramatic. For a shogi anime, it's got a really good story. I'm feeling a little evil. My first thought was it serves that teacher right for last season. That was definitely a dramatic first episode of the new season. Dang... Very intense.
