I really enjoyed Ju-on 1 and 2, more than the American remakes. I like the Ringu movies too. Ringu 0 was pretty interesting because you get to see how she ended up in the well, but I didn't find the movie as a whole all that horrifying. This I found a bit more weird than horrifying, but Tetsuo The Iron Man is a pretty interesting modern (at the time) Japanese black and white horror film, I definitely think the creators were on shrooms when they made it though. Then there's one Japanese horror film I stumbled upon called Infection that was actually pretty enjoyable. Audition is another one I found interesting.
If it isn't obvious, I really like J horror. If anyone has suggestions for new J horror films I'm all ears, I've been out of the loop for a while. XD

Tetsuo is one of the best body horror films the Japanese concocted. Its following is a rather obscure one, but enjoyable to stand on its merit alone.
Especially by the designs they came up with.
Infection is amazing, and really left a lasting impression at the end, especially Audition's build up to the moment of truth.
