North Carolina/Charlotte area

Any one in the area? Might just be me, but seems like it's crazy hard to meet people who share this hobby. Feel free to post about what ever here if you are in the area.

Hi there! I'm not from North Carolina, but I've been there for my cousin's wedding a few years back. And yea, it is kinda tough to meet people here, or it's just me lol

Live in New Bern about 5-6 hours away. We have a couple cons during the year around the state. Biggest one is in Raleigh, animazement. Couple of smaller but still good ones around the Greensboro area. Great places to meet people and make friends that would be closer.

Oh my gosh, I had to go few pages deep to find any thread on NC so can I post here? If not I'll take my leave quietly. I'm a couple hours away from Charlotte but I reside in NC,yes. I wish to find friends with similar interests (like anime) whom I can hang out with irl ☆

Definitely! We're a rare breed, so we gotta stick together. Outside of cons, meeting people into anime here is pretty harsh.

Its worse when one cant afford to go to con. NC needs more anime lovers
