Yes I loved the anime and at the end when men ma had to go I was crying so hard

@tiddy Holy crap, I can only imagine the pain you went through. I was about the same age as you when I saw it. I saw some clips on youtube about the cool fight scenes and was excited to see them since getting through Roroni Kenshin. He was somewhat of a hero figure to me. To see somebody who was so heroic in the anime and so kind to others die in such a way he didn't deserve was really hard to handle. I still have the OAV dvd somewhere. I saw that scene once and I've never been able to bring myself to see it again. Let me know if 2020 isn't depressing enough for you and I'll let you borrow it to re-watch ^_~

Don't feel too bad. The final Ova of Samurai X wasn't canon. The only canon ones were during his time in war. @arc @tiddy

The first time I cried in an anime was when Zabuza Momochi died in Naruto. It was also the first anime death I witnessed. I was 10 years old. When he said "your words cut deeper then any blade" I felt my eyes get watery. I was so sad. Then he asked Kakashi to put him beside Haku and I my tears were running down my cheek. I was balling when he died. Before this I used to think, "how can people cry at movies or shows? Its all fake." But God damn this hurt me.
