How clingy is too clingy?

I see myself as a very loving, caring person who just needs attention and wants to feel wanted, to a lot of people out there they see me as clingy and want nothing to do with me. So what in your opinion makes someone too "clingy" instead of affectionate?

good question i like when a guys a little clingy as it shows you your loved and he cares and wants to be with you on the other hand, if hes angry that you dont spend every hour of the day together or if you dont check your phone every five minutes, thats too much

when you can't physically cling to your lover and tell them to stroke your hair and pet you and feed you. obv im an animal in bed. feed me and pet me plz.

hmm.. i guess if thats the way you see it vanessa, i should remain single forever, i need space sometimes. i suppose it makes me a damaged person. really sucks though. even someone like me who needs space sometimes wants to be super clingy and huggy and cuddly. so i think thats a bit unfair. i guess i should look for someone who also needs space sometimes and understands the concept of needing to be alone sometimes. besides. my bpd can make me extremely violent, even to my lover. as much as i don't want to be violent. don't really have a choice.
