Burying The Hatchet

Well what you call "making amends" really isn't making amends for one ... its just copping out and wanting some clean slate just because its easier than legitimately making amends. Also if you didn't read what I said the hell do you know what I mean? The only reason it came to "threats and blackmail" was because there wasn't any signs of gratitude or good will - and more importantly genuine remorse and sorrow for any prior misdeeds and mistakes. You tried to make an amend (of sorts) when there was a lull between you and kiddo (coincidence I'm suuuuuure in the timing of that) and just kinda went "eh lets just start over clean slate" - with no real mention of any past misdeeds, regret for them, or that you'd make sure they wouldn't happen again .... doing so would actually require effort and legitimate feelings which are not your strong suit. What if I wanted to make amends with you and my stance was "all of that threatening and blackmailing is in the past can't you just get over it" - would you accept or reject my attempt at making amends and reopening some kind of friendship? (be honest with yourself here) There is a great difference between breaking up over some differences or something not working out and really doing someone dirty - all break ups are not equal (or amicable). "We broke up it happens" - doesn't exactly cover everything and excuse everything either. You also don't realize whats going on (with kiddo) and I do (sad part is I haven't even talked to him) - there is a reason this is coming back out now from his side. I alluded to it a long time ago and its finally happening (I'm pretty sure anyway).

See now that looks like an actual apology. The rage and fire directed at you today isnt sourced from our transgressions at least not primarily. If you really had gotten to know me youd understand what I mean. In order to understand my residual resentment youd have to understand me more and open your mind and more specifically certain things you did or didnt do thatd lead to such.
