At least when it comes to feminists like Anita Sarkisian (I know I spelled her last name wrong), they're pretty much con artists fluffing up support (both fiscally and socially) from hardline third wave feminists trying to create controversy where none really existed before. All you have to look in at the kickstarter projects people like Anita and her sham of a non-profit have collected on and barely delivering on any of the promised content. Between those grossly under-promised projects, speaking fees from universities, and all the publicity she gets for supposedly speaking for "all" women on issues, she's made quite the lucrative career out of it. As much as its too easy to get riled up over her BS opinions on a lot of things, she actually feeds off all the negative attention she gets because she turns it around and spins it as a "woe is me, look at all the MRA's and supporters of the patriachy attacking me" like so many SJW's who have a major victim complex. The best thing you can do is just ignore Anita and her ilk and don't feed into their feminist BS.
