I think being shy for either genders can definitely be creepy from the perspective of the... errr... object? The person that the other person is interested in. Only in that I get that people sometimes stare as they're working up the nerve to say something or whatever but for the other person, they don't know what you're thinking. All they know is that person is just dead staring at them and that is worrisome. Smelling clothes is creepy and super gross especially if used and especially if I used it. Being shy, Male: While I wouldn't say it's creepy(Well unless you're a stalker.), I would just say to use the age old adage of 'manning up' and asking her out if you like her. It's by no means 'creepy' however. It also comes into contact heavily with what girl you are talking about, and what guy you are. I've seen many women call shy behavior horribly creepy, however when an attractive man does it, find it adorable. In that aspect, you want the luck of the gene pool. Women: As long as they aren't breaking in my house, it can be cute. Smelling clothes, Men: Now this is a bit trickier due to it have the above parameters as the above, While also coming into the line of "Harassment", Where saying the smallest of things can be seen as wrong, ect.
