Opinion on Hairy Armpits & Legs

purefault
It doesn't bother me. Girls naturally have hair, so I don't see why it's that big of a deal. Maybe it would be a little odd at first since it's not "normal" in the US, but if you like someone, it shouldn't really matter.

Wow this thread, I completely missed all of it. On topic, I think if a woman wanted me to shave/wax, I could probably do it, just as long as the same efforts were taken on her end.

This... http://titanimg.titan24.com/news/2009/07/12/c31f3115ca_1247375806.jpg is hotter than this... http://img.cz.prg.cmestatic.com/media/images/original/May2015/1755002.jpg End of discussion. Let's stop pretending we'd be ok with a girl parading around all the time with hairy legs. Be fine with a girl "letting herself go" on occassion? Sure. A normal trend tho? No.

Honestly I'm like 100% percent ok with it.

who gives a fuck if a girl shaves or waxes, its natural, and if its natural, i could give two shits, now if a girl gets antlers put on her head, i will be very fucking concerned. also, if she has dead babies implanted her somehow, i havent thought far enough to figure out how or where they are implanted, then i would also be very concerned. if she gets an earring i will be concerned, if she gets her titties pierced, i will be concerned, if she gets stabbed through the chest and calls it a piercing i will be concerned, if she consensually allows someone to feed her croks, i will be concerned because nobody should be fed shoes of any kind. even consensualy.

i have no idea what im saying.

Oops... my bad for not making the distinction that I'm speaking from the perspective of a heterosexual male. Girls, lesbians, bi, gay... I can't speak of their views, just like they can't speak on behalf of a strait male. Females, regardless of sexual orientation, I'd assume would naturally have a different opinion on hairy legs and pits on their own sex. Gay dudes, and dudes that are bi, such as Ryushika (who doesn't give a fuck if a girl shaves), to me, would also naturally have a different opinion of hairy females since they're already sexually attracted to hairy male bodies. If hairy male legs can give you an erection, then what does it matter if a female's legs are hairy? However, if you're a 100% strait dude, then yes, I'm calling you a liar for saying you don't care if a girl has hairy legs and pits as a norm.

I'm glad you ranted one perspective, because then I can rant about another perspective :P Btw, when I say "you" I don't mean you specifically, Mary. I mean it as a generalization of gender. First, if a man shaved his arms and legs, yes he most certainly would be judged (at least in the US) so it isn't different. And as far as a girl being hairless and a guy being hairy, it comes down to girls are "supposed" to be feminine, and guys are "supposed" to be masculine. Just look at wildlife... that principle exists in almost every species of animal. What does a male lion have that a female lion doesn't? A bunch of fucking hair around his head. Males are inherently physically stronger and larger than females, so they're "supposed" to be more masculine. Being physically larger and having more body hair is associated with it, regardless if it's fair or not, right or not. And again, it's generally the way it is in the wild too, so in a sense it COULD be said that it's perfectly natural. For example, based on appearance only... who would you say is more masculine? http://johnalvino.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Skinny-fat-300x200.jpg http://www.manvcity.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/beard-250x300.jpg As for what society says... Well, yeah, I find hairy legs and/or pits on a girl as a turn-off. That's the whole notion behind what a turn-off is: Something we individually find unappealing, generally, for shallow reasons. It doesn't matter if it's a man or a woman; it doesn't matter how righteous the person is either- we ALL find arousal in vanity, and we ALL have turn-offs. If someone is gonna hold a guy accountable for being turned off by one perfectly normal thing with a female, then that same person should hold ALL forms of natural foundations under the same rules. Anyone, raise your hand if you're turned off instantly when someone has bad breath. Oh, what, you can't fucking handle a perfectly normal, natural human development? Why should someone have to brush their teeth, floss, and use mouth wash just to inhibit a natural occurrence? Is it a turn-off if someone has acne covering their face? How about on their back? That's a natural, hormonal occurance. Why should that person have to feel insecure just because society says you can't still be beautiful with a face full of whiteheads? Why should that person have to see a dermatologist? Just because society says you have to have clear skin to be beautiful? Why do I have to style my hair? Why can't I just have bed head all day without a girl assuming I just woke up and am lazy? Why do I have to wear collared shirts and cardigans to look more presentable to a girl? Why can't I just wear an old cotton shirt with yellow pit stains without having to worry about a girl judging me as a slob? Why do I have to take showers and clean myself and wear deodorant? Why do I have to mask my natural human scent? What, you can't handle the natural odor of the human body? Just because there's a little natural body odor, it's gross and unhygienic? Why do girls you wear make-up? To cover up natural flaws? Why do girls curl their hair? To change their natural hair? Why should I have to work out just to have a "nicer" figure? Because society says so? Why does a guy with a feminine voice get judged as being feminine? Why is a strait man that's feminine assumed to be gay? Because it's against society's rules of what it means to be a man? Why do I have to open doors for a girl, or else be perceived as inconsiderate? What, you can't open the door yourself? Oh, because society says the guy has to. Why do I have to pick up the girl for a date, or else be perceived as a bum? Maybe I wanna make the girl wait for me. Why do I have to pay for dinner and the movie on a first date, or else be perceived as cheap? Oh, because society says so. Why can't I wear sweatpants on a date, or else be perceived as a slob? Oh, because society says so. ANY girl (or guy) that takes the stance that it's unfair for a guy to be turned off by hairy legs/pits on a girl because it's natural... can you then HONESTLY say you're not guilty of any of these things? And if you are guilty of them (which we all are because we're human) then how is THAT fair?

@space cadet about the whole guy shaving and being judged apparently this isnt the case. Infact lots of guys do it. Back when i was in basic training since we all shared showers and had no privacy, there was a thing amongst the guys that every sunday a group of them would get together and shave (their nether regions) some even made designs lmfao as weird as that sounds im not making that shit up. Plus no girl wants to go down on a bush when performing oral for obvious reasons. I think the whole being judged about shaving thing might be area specific
