Is cheating acceptable?

I've cheated before. But only when it got to a point where my other half treated me like literal garbage, she disrespected me so I did the same, lol

Definitely not acceptable. If you aren't really into a relationship just break it off. Don't stay in a realtionship if you intend on sleeping around.

I don't think it's ever acceptable. If you want to be in an open or non monogamous relationship, establish that in the beginning. If you're not happy, end the relationship. My ex wife cheated, we tried to make it work after but I just couldn't get past it.

@Mikorin I can't agree with this more. I know one of my closest girl friends was really upset because her boyfriend had broken up with her, and she realized after looking at his Facebook page that he already had another girlfriend, and his status was set to "Open Relationship". That was not an open relationship, that was cheating, because he never once told her, and she'd been tricked all along into thinking they were a monogamous couple. He was extremely unsympathetic to her too, and even now still thinks that somehow, she is at fault...

no...why would it ever be acceptable? cause I mean if you want to break up just break up with the person instead of going out with another and making the heart break hurt a lot more
