@Baka: That was mostly ancient Rome. Most of those accounts were written by authors that had vendettas of some kind, so not that reliable. I'll just say I really believe everyone should be able to love who they want. That shouldn't even be up for debate.

@muffin.. that is debatable, genetic links and brain structural differences has been found between gay and straight(and is still under speculation).. but a past history of child abuse, bad parenting and childhood gender non-conformity have also been found on a lot of gay/bi peops. Infact childhood gender nonconformity(cgn) is the most common past history that most gay gives (cgn again have studies which links it to genetics, but due to its ambigous state it is currently considered under the environmental factors). So saying genetic factor is predominant over the environmental factors is a bold statement, i wont say its wrong though coz i also feel that way.. but currently evidences related to environmental factors predominate.
