They are strong. They live really long They don't need to toil They roots are set in the soil But while the big ones are tough You can apply just enough... Force to topple an oak That a sapling would see as a joke. So you see roots arent everything Neither are size and strength Because the hardest trees to break Are the flexible ones we make.

Trees. My arms wrap around one. It hugs me. Prickling my skin softly. I breathe and the sent of wood intoxicates me. I breathe and the Tree breathes We exchange Oxygen, CO2, feelings. ... My mind wanders far above the canopy.

Trees ~ You are tall, Like a giraffe in the savanna. You wither and revive, Like the day and night goes. You saved us all by bringing Life to the Earth.
