Ignorance

Precious Divine Some treat it as gold Ephemeral Sensitive Or so I am told We see it in children Call it innocence See it in adults With a lack of common sense They cling to ideals in spite of all other proof They hold onto this attitude with a mind so aloof How sad This world would be better if we all Could see The truth But that point is moot I love being wrong Love learning new things Love opening my perspective And see what new thoughts it will bring Some of them might sting But I'd rather find out there was something I missed Than to live in ignorance and think it as bliss This poem sucked
