I was actually reading and watching this one at the same time. I read the last chapter of the manga about a week before the last episode of the anime came out, and I still wasn't prepared for the ending. Since then I've watched it 3 more times. I've seen the English and Japanese versions 2 times each, and have binge watched it twice. The final episode took SAO episode 3's place for something to watch when I want to watch something emotional (which happens every now and then.)

This was easily the most depressing show I watched last year. My god.

I basically forced my super emotional roommate to watch Your Lie in April with me. His reactions were almost as great as the show itself.

I watched this, then followed it up by School-Live. I'm a glutton for punishment, apparently.
