Confessions

A few questions, if I may. How do you know you let the "right one" go? What made that person the "right one"? If they we're the "right one", why didn't it work or why couldn't it? My thing about that is, while I am married and absolutely would be devastated if it all just ended, I don't fall into the camp of "the one". I have no intentions of finding another (No reason to think like that at the moment.), but I truly believe one can fall in love many times and have it be just as real each time. Every love is different, but none are any less. By love, I don't just mean "feelings". Feelings often lie, even if they're a natural part of it all.

@yaasshat well maybe things didnt work then and rather than work them out you thought only about that moment. The saying "you never know what you have until its gone" meaning we take it for granted. As humans we are selfish creatures and sometimes that gets the better over our judgement. For instance that person does something that isnt ok in the moment, but as you get older you realize it wasnt that big of a deal. Just because they were the "right one" doesnt mean they are the only one and thats why people can often find love again
