It is ok to come to Portugal, their is places like Sintra and Lousã that are just beautiful < 3 The problem is going to the big cities :/ If the bus is already full let the natives enter first, don't spend hours talking with the driver guy about how do you go to X place, do your research :/ don't go eat to the same restaurant everyone goes to and try to explore the city more about yourself and the surroundings. Don't be the typical tourist that went to the "top 5 places of Lisbon u.u " cuz everyone does the same :/

Thats like going to Florida and not going to disneyland. If the place is designed to be entertainimg to someone not from around there why could I not just do both? Explore hot tourist spots and less traveled areas? I didnt grow up there. So it isnt boring or routine to me o.o

I go to florida and not go to Disney world...i LIVED in florida and still didnt go (granted i went once but i have no memory of it) disney world isnt all there is to florida and i think thats what sal is trying to say. You might get caught up trying to see the things that are popular that you wont go to lesser known places that may be even better and dont get the attention it deserves

And Im sayimg that the things are popular for a reason. Not to disparage the more unique experiences. I dont see why you cant do both?
