Empathy is a feelings based arguments not a logical one. As an example: Many people care for their kids because they raised them, fed them, gave them shelter etc. Kids are their own flesh and blood. If a parent comes up to me and ask me, "could you give me money to feed my kids?" Why would I give two hoots for a complete strangers kids? I have no vested interest. That is not my problem at all. I am under no moral or legal obligation to help. Another example: You feel empathy towards animals because they feel pain like humans, therefore you're a vegetarian. I agree that animals feel pain. But just because something feels pain. Does not automatically upscale animals to human level morality. That is not logical for me.

not possible to have no bad. without bad, good cant exist. also, to grow as humans we need to experience bad/sad moments as well

@alephy im telling you that empathy is a logical construct SOME of us have it for good reason you are acting as if empathy is le bad >:( when its not and its because of emathy that we protect each other because were selfish af and need that insentive the 'empathy bad' take is only one that nonnuanced edgy online people have so just make sure not to make fun of any handicap people and we're good

@lilyyazawa not sure if your talking to me, but yes good and bad are two sides of the same coin but it should be our goal in life to make each others lives as easier as reasonably possible life fucking sucks, why not try and make things easier as much as we can?
