I used to have a big problem falling asleep! My mind is always thinking of something. What I've done, my regret, my mistakes, my future, my plans or what may be happening tomorrow. I also get these random floating thought and worries constantly when trying to fall asleep. Whenever I am facing this problem, I do try my best not to think of anything. However, I still end up thinking about not trying to think of anything at all... This "not trying to think of anything" doesn't last a while and I end up thinking about something anyway. I also get all frustrated that I can't seem to fall asleep and end up feeling worse about it. It's really severe when there is an important day, or just have some early schedule the next day. I've found my own remedy to counter my problem (That works for me!) 1. I've cut out coffee or caffeine consumption unless it's necessary for an all-nighter or a needs of staying up really late. I still do drink coffee, from time to time when I know I need to stay up late or go all nighter. Instead of coffee, I do drink teas more often. Some Teas do have a considerable amount of caffeine in them. However, it's way more manageable and tea also helps my body to relax and warms my body. 2. I turn on a youtube video (no song/music, usually a gameplay, vlog and podcast) with my earphone on one of my ears and turn to the opposite direction to my laptop or a small light source. I always do this every night and It works wonders with me. *listening to music actually helps me to think of something so...that doesn't work with me* I hope you all can find your own cure~ :)

@TheSailingTeacup Thank you for the recommendation! But, I think I am okay without them :) When in doubt, I do have a secret weapon to help me sleep! *cough* "Food Coma" *cough*... However, that is my last resort as I am all about counting my calories and stuff... Thankfully, I've been doing fine with my method from the previous post. Some of the youtube video's are really helpful in getting my brain to not to think of anything and help me sleep easily afterwards. Ya, it is really awful when your sleeping schedule get's all out of sync or get used to at a weird time. Hope you can find your desired sleeping schedule! For me, if I can't like sleep by 2 am...I get all worried whether I am unable to wake up for the schedule the next day. I just can't trust myself xD.

Still awake... As usual. Who needs sleep?
