Yes...To some extent,most of them are heartless..My contact's Chinese gf is going to break up with him because she thinks she cannot "abandon" her parents and sister ..Xiao/孝 from Confucianism is baked into the whole society.Children are possessions of parents, they should interfere in their children's lives even after their children are married.I am a rebel who dislikes the whole system heh..My plan was to be single for good because I hate a loveless relationship with anybody my parents wish for me.
