I don't and never will understand the desire to see children as sexual or sexualized objects, be it real or fictional/cartoon. The whole "lolita" thing is a bit overdone too, seeing as it's named after a book by the same title that deals with sex with a minor. People seem to think it's "cute" when children are sexualized and I just don't get nor do I agree with that mentality. Saying it's fictional doesn't make it any better.
