What ANIME are you watching right now?

I gave up on Miss Nagatoro. Some parts were cute, like when she gets possessive over him with her friends but, nah, humiliation isn't my bag. I started Tomo-chan Is A Girl and it's pretty cute. I'm liking these slice of life's where people are working to try to get friends to realize that they love each other and should date. I also started The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist In Another World. Nothing stands out about it yet. Pretty cookie cutter Isekai within a magic world. Pretty average.

I kinda hope there's a Nagataro Revenge Doujin where he fucks his bullies. The president in the show is pretty unmatched though. I've been enjoying Revenger lately, just hope it ends like 91 Days but with cool samurai shit.

I'm going to take a minute talking about what animes I'm watching to complain about one specific that I just finished for the third time. Arc had never seen it and it was an anime I told him he had to see. I think there were songs that kept popping up on an anime station he listens to and noted that they were from Nana. https://media.tenor.com/5Mwrj-qvMlIAAAAC/nana-golden-time.gif Nana falls into my top 10 favorite anime even though if you were to see my MAL and see where all my 8s, 9s, and 10s are distributed and how many, you would wonder, "hey, how can this 9 be a in your top 10 if you have more than ten 10s?" Because Nana was cut short. I haven't done a deep dive into it, but the manga goes up to 21 volumes and getting a complete set used in English is like $300. The creator got sick before finishing the series and was hospitalized for close to a year, I haven't found out why or if they are even still living but the anime ends on the hugest cliff hanger for a drama series and it doesn't make sense why it wasn't picked back up. The manga did end. I must have read the manga online years ago because I knew how it ended to a degree but I had thought the anime went forward a bit further than where it cut off. I was wrong. Like Fruits Basket I'm really hoping someone comes along and decides this anime is worth doing over and finishing completely. It's one of the most mature stories you will find in anime. I'm also pretty nostalgic about it. Even though I didn't watch it at the time it came out, the music definitely puts me in that frame of mind I was in at that age. This was when I was finishing highschool. It's over 20 years old so I don't know if the singer that did the vocals for Blast and Trapnest still sings, but they could always bring in a new younger singer. It's doable. And I bet this anime has enough of a cult following that people would be into it. Plus there's some stuff about Ren, one of the main male love interests that needs to be settled. Hmm...It's actually a pretty interesting storyline for a slice of life anime. The last 2 seasons have really set themselves apart from the beginning. Even the last 2 movies were really good. I wasn't a fan of the song for Season 5 but that was my one complaint for that season. That opening was *definitely a choice*. The stories have really matured, so it's awesome.
