Depends. Might want to go for a board with 4x CPU sockets so you can load it with the 28 core versions of Skylake :p
Then you could probably play your crysis

You're right. The VCA is probably a lot better at media transcoding though. Not something we would need to be doing as gamers.

Haha, for work I had a server loaded with 4 of them. They are pretty fun toys.
Basically an HPC cluster on a card.
