What specifically are you talking about, Shadow? Don't do a general thing, what post of mine did you read that made you say that? Or are you simply saying, in general, that racist actions won't be tolerated?

Any racist actions shall not be taken......look this is meant to be a peaceful discussion..not some pointless argument fest.....you speak on the point at hand.....if you all can't do that then I just wonder what we've all become......what man has become

Everyone is not fighting. I'm not fighting. A few things are mad that I'm ignoring them. That's quite literally the opposite of fighting. The one's that are being ignored are the ones causing the most ruckus. Everyone else is having a conversation

I've watched enough to feel I can comment on the general tone and direction of the video (for what its worth I hit the ~12 minute mark) and may watch it fully in the future as I do love how Trevor Noah comes at things. There were other people in the video but it is mainly Trevor Noah featured in the video and he is also the only one I'm particularly familiar with. He speaks of the racist situation in South Africa and that racial events can have an impact of all members of the race whether or not they were directly involved. In essence (with respect to the issues in particular) that black people in America can feel the impact of members of their race being treated so horribly in South Africa and the black people in South Africa could feel the impact and lament the once existent slavery in America. He speaks of narratives and how if one wanted too can find facts (or "facts") to support any narrative. As well as how optics alone can be powerful. He speaks of an incident I'm not familiar with but off of that he mentions getting people / groups from "different worlds or viewpoints" (paraphrasing) together as it will draw the people from these worlds together in a way that normally wouldn't happen. For example if Trump had a publicly aired interview / debate with NAACP leader(s) that it would (ideally) bring in the people who are aware of the things Trump says but aren't well aware of NAACP stances and views and expose them to that and vice versa. Back to the narrative point - the OP has willfully based on something as not watching a video and replying "however we feel like it" as a narrative to victimize himself as a target of bigotry and the "things" as bigots perpetuating the bigotry. He hasn't acknowledged much of anything we actually said nor substantiated a claim. No kichigai me being delightfully surprised and enjoying the video in no ways contradicts anything I've said of you personally or admits any defeat. I will probably watch the rest at some point because I find Trevor Noah an enlightening and fair figure. I have now (partially) watched the video and responded to the other initial query. You (OP - Kichigai) can no longer say I haven't watched the video (at all - but if you want to nit pick as to why not in its entirety .... you can be that fickle) so be a man of your word and expose us for bigots. Use whatever definition you like and substantiate our actions and substantially apply our actions and words to that definition. Now that I have (mostly) heeded your original prompt and query now be fair and adhere to the ones I have repeatedly implored you too with substance. (Go to page 26 for a lengthier explanation and a little more context) Prove that .... 1. We are so devoted to our opinions and prejudices that we will not tolerate dissent 2. We regard and treat members of a group (racial/ethnic) with hatred and intolerance (based off of their race or group) 3. Our words and actions substantiate the above conditions and our actions are driven solely by the above two conditions (or other substantive conditions) and NO OTHER FACTORS (such as personal conduct) (going to be pretty hard to do if you don't even know what we said) Also give us a fair and honest chance to have a rebuttal and clarify our beliefs and positions. Simply satisfying the three conditions will not be enough - they will have to stand up to the scrutiny of rebuttal. The burden of proof is on THE ACCUSER not the accused - be wary of this as well - even if you could do so based on a preponderance of the evidence standard.... let alone proof beyond a reasonable doubt standard. Until you can do that - shut the fuck up
