Sometimes I chose the edit over starting a new post. If I'm an "it" and a "bigot" go ahead and substantiate your claim. Was it the "threat" was it the "bitch" remark ? Go ahead substantiate your claims and if you're going to go with racist .... substantiate that I am both prejudiced and that I discriminate against a race If your response is something like "why should I bother" then your claims and "emphasis" have zero value

So yeah Racism - it is a pretty bad thing in society. Unfortunately exists in a highly debatable extent. (trying to get back on topic here because why not)

I've come across things the KKK have done in the past and they truly are horrible and those are things one human should never do to another. They are still active today although I cannot speak to what capacity but I'd imagine not nearly as much as in years past. As much as it would be nice for the KKK (and any other groups like them) to magically vanish unfortunately it isn't that easy. Unfortunately change on a scale like this takes generations where each generation (hopefully) is more racially tolerant than the last. I'm not sure what BlackLivesMatter is truly accomplishing (another debatable topic) but there certainly is a place for a modernized Civil Rights Movement as long as they stay true to their principles

Hopefully with Trump things won't be as doom and gloom as some are suggesting. I personally don't think it will but I can certainly see why others would disagree there. A lot of people thought Obama would help bridge the gap but in my opinion racial relations only got worse with his presidency. One of the first steps into racial unity (and any number of contentious issues) is to stop immediately seeing any dissent as the view of the radical crazed opposite and to be consistent. If generalizing inner city black people as gang bangers and thugs is wrong then so is generalizing Trump voters as white supremacists. That kind of consistency if it could be pulled off would be a great start.
