And I wish all of you were swallowed.
In other news...
There was a shooting at The Fort Lauderdale airport. It should make it even more interesting for gun owners, not to take away from the tragedy of the situation.

Ah yes a (mass) shooting happens and all the libtards want to essentially ban guns and enact laws and policy on something they know little or nothing about. (going off asshats comment)
(when it comes to guns I meet / see very few liberals who have even a modicum of understanding of guns other than "they shoot people" and "guys like Lanza use them to shoot up schools"... and this lack of knowledge shows)
I'm okay(ish) with gun dissenters like bloody even though I disagree with him. He can choose not to bear arms as long as he isn't seeking to infringe on those that do. Just because the libtard media says "guns are so deregulated" doesn't mean they actually are. I mean if there is an active PFA against you - even an ex parte one (where one hasn't had the opportunity for due process and litigation) you can't get a gun. This means that my mother or girlfriend (lol) or whoever can cite whatever the fuck they want (true or not) as grounds for a PFA and because the courts would rather be safe than sorry they issue one and then it'd be up to me to fight and get the PFA off my name.
If abortions were as regulated as guns liberals (and feminists) would have stopped what they were doing and rioted yesterday.
Ed you're thinking of gun free zones in general as hotspots for a mass shooting because ... hey the criminal would be the only one armed.

Shootings happen all over, even where I live(On occasion. People be stupid, yo.). It's the one's that happen in what are supposed to be secure areas that make headlines. You'd think with how the media portrays gun violence, that America was a third world country war zone gone mad max. Honestly, it's that kind of sensationalism that has some of the biggest impact on biase and how people vote on laws.

asshat - as usual you're right on the point
A good 80% of anti-gunners base is pure sensational paranoia and just lack of education. If gun owners were as violent and enraged as the media portrays - wouldn't Texas be nearly extinct? Why are the most violent areas where the guns are the most restricted (Illinois - Chicago in particular, NY, NJ, Cali)?
People need to be exposed to more stories of...
*a woman fending off a would be rapist with a gun
*an elderly person (particularly a woman) fighting off a much more physically dominant thug breaking in her home by use of a gun
*a parent keeping their child safe from an attacker with a gun
I honestly would favor a law like Kennesaw, Georgia has - where the head of household is by law required to have a gun (can you guess how the crime rate in that city looked like before/after that law :P ) although I can see where there'd be reasonable objection.
