Who Is "Ruining" America?

I don't really want a class war either - and if it had to come down to it try the massive political unity first (yeah the unity thing is a longshot considering how divided we are on shit). I also theorize we might be on our way to what could be the seeds of a second civil war with metropolitan liberals v the rest of America being mostly conservative (and would be pretty much over the same things our first one was). If the opposing major parties keep just attacking each other and getting more radical its going to boil over and explode eventually. It would be nice if a third party would come along that as neatly as possible had a platform both liberals and conservatives either are on board with or can live with. Granted it'd be one hell of a "compromise" party but we really do need that given how things are going.

It's funny because America as a whole does seem to be becoming increasingly conservative or at least more right leaning. I am averse to the idea of tensions between parties exploding. But if it happens, it happens. I still dont see revolt or war happening anytime soon.

I see America as getting much more liberal (especially on social issues) - I think this election cycle was a buck against that trend just because the liberals have been making such a nuisance of themselves that we elected Trump in part to stick it to them. I don't see anything massively violent anytime soon either or that its certain to happen - we're too divided for that to be the case. I do however find the liberal v conservative civil war more likely than the middle America v wealth elite to happen (not that either are all that probable).

There is a distinctive difference between a group becoming larger and that group just being more vocal. But yeah, lets hope there is a less violent more feasible solution
