Rejection.

Hmm, let's see... of 5 relationships I pursued, 2 ended in rejection, with the other 3 being ones I eventually ended for one reason or another. When it came to the first rejection, I was in high school and the girl basically shot me down because, as she put it, her parents wouldn't approve of me because I don't practice their religion. I can't entirely decide if that was her only reason, but I also can't say its helped my opinion of religions since. The second, I think, suffered more to a chain of bad events. Had a net lady friend come down for about a week, couple days in she winds up getting the flu and is pretty much bedridden the majority of the trip. Prior to that, there was some touchy feely that went on, but once we finally went to part ways, it just seemed like she wanted to get home. We still talk from time to time, and to this day I do feel like she was the closest I've been to "the one" in terms of personality, looks, and interests, but such ultimately seems one-sided. Sucks, especially when learning of some crap circumstances that have hit her over time. So, uh... how do I handle it? Apparently it depends. Had a couple other crushes during school, of course, but nothing I ever acted on. So can't say there was any rejection to build on there, either.

That's my problem tho. I always have too high hopes and end up getting hurt. Even if I try not too. I'm stupid

over the years ive rejected so many people, and brutally as well -- i had been rejected when i was 12 but like.... i was 12, it didnt really affect me. i was rejected last summer as well but it wasnt like we really knew each other so i wasnt hurt too bad. the only time i got rejected and it was REALLY bad was last year when i liked this guy for a very long period of time only to find out he had 0 interest in me. i cried uncontrollably for weeks and now i cant even look at him without feeling sad for myself. it sucks. :p i think what made it so bad was that everyone said "oh you guys would look perfect together" and shit like "i ship it" when in reality it was only one sided

I've been rejected too many times. And everytime I think "Why did I even try again" I won't try ever again, I'm done. It hurts more then it should.

once it's suckesh like I don't really ever ask a girl out since I'm not the best looking and I feel like that's the biggest factor to a lot of the females where I live

Gonna be honest, I've never found an interest in love. Well when I was little sure I was interested in it, until I got rejected a few times lol. I just lost interest in love, you could say I'm asexual. I'm not interested in either genders :p. Just wanna make some friends :D

I've been shot down so many times over the last 15 years or so, I've pretty much become numb to it (and sadly) almost have an expectation to have it happen at some point. Be it initially when I ask a girl out for a date or after a few weeks of dating and something I say, about my life, or my personality may turn them off and stop wanting to hang out or spend time with me. And this is assuming I'm fortunate enough to find someone who I might feel I can click with who isn't half my age or isn't already in a relationship. It's not for lack of trying on my part, that's for damn sure.
