I met an awesome girl online and we been talking for a while now. So i decided to ask her out and meet in person, so we schedule a date at Little Tokyo but it was a no show, she overslept so the date was cancel. She sends me a text saying that she wants to meet up again so we did, and it was awesome and all, but for some reason it was hard for me to start a conversation -_-. I wasn't that nervous or anything is just that i couldn't think of a good topic to talk about. We pretty much talk about everything on the phone so it was hard for me and there were some awkward silence for a while and we both just laugh about it haha so what do you guys do in this kind of situations?

Not the right solution.. but hey... i'll pitch in anyway.
1. pre-emptively get drunk.
2. Roll up a blunt to make the ideas flow.
3. make a plan to keep her distracted ( movies, dinners, concerts, wutever )

I agree with @hokkikomori on #3 maybe go out to an event so you both have something to do/see, conversations can come up easier that way? If it doesn't get any better then idk about this one x'D usually when I find someone I like, conversations just flow so easily xp
:o maybe she's shy or too scared that you might judge her on the topics she want to start up? Make her feel relax! Xp idk just throwing out ideas there hahaha
Hope all works out for you both! :)

Comment on how nice she looks, or how happy you are to finally meet her in person. Those are pretty nice convo starters, after that its all about finding common ground.

go do something you like to do or want to do and have her tag along. that way you have something to teach/learn and you're both doing it together. it can be picking up a new series to watch, go to the arcade, fishing, or even just people watching. i am pretty sure as long as you guys are active, conversation will flow.
