I kinda was expecting them to lose tbh..... Sadly I got a few of the first picks wrong but from quarter finals and up have all my picks right.

H2K found their synergy with forgiven on the team now. ANX was great in group stage but looked shaky after that long rox game. Kinda showed that their endurance isn't there. Also this was quarters so H2K knew what ANX's weaknesses were and to not under estimate them and make dumb plays like every1 else did in group A

I also don't think the remaining teams will continue to get better beyond this point. I could see the korean teams maybe scrimming each other once or twice but other than challenger teams it's highly unlikely any of the NA teams will agree/have a roster not on vacay to scrim against. SKT>Rox and SSG>H2K imo. Like the old saying "you invite SKT to an international event and they'll win it"

i think people hype SKT up a little too much. faker isnt the best player alive imo sure sometimes he picks non meta picks and sometimes rapes but i mean come on half the people picking meta comps dont know the champion cuz outside of tournaments they probably arent playing them all day everyday. if i ever played professionally like them i dont think i would have picked meta champs either

Pro's scrim countless hours a day practicing mostly champions that are in the meta. I wouldn't really say outside of ANX there has been many unorthadox picks except for zyra making her way back onto the rift. Jayce used to be meta like a year or two ago so they should be rusty but a few scrims/soloQ and they're good. Now imo SKT doesn't deserve to be hyped so much on faker himself but their cordination and team work since it is a team game even though their are solo aspects. Rox are so hyped right now because all you keep hearing is "smeb is the best player in the world right now". Any time SKTgo some where internationally they tend to win it which should merit the right to be hyped up. It's just like TSM in the NA region. Every split they land themselves in the finals so every NA split TSM gets alot of hype. I do think SKT will beat ROX but i'm skeptical on how SKT vs SSG would play out. Although you can't count H2K out anymore

yeah but there are times where people play horribly with a champion i dont think a few scrims are enough to fully master a champion you need to get way more than that i feel. to get a feel for what the champ can do in a certain situation like this for exampe http://youtu.be/OgVRphIitbg the fight at 15:34 was pretty bad. i've been playing caitlyn over the weekend and i think that could have went way better than it did. caitlyn does insane amounts of damage yet this person is pretty much useless with her the entire game. she has range on lucian. if lucian dashes in, she can e away and possibly turn it around on him. the alistar has been doing extremely well but the caitlyn is sort of lost i mean yeah the team play was bad too, they werent all together. but if you look at the caitlyn most of it was her fault she spends time running around for pretty much the whole fight even when she could be AA'ing someone she just walks around

I didn't watch the ANX vs H2K matches so idk exactly how it played out but from that example you've shown. Alistair engaged way to early. The caitlyn was so far back and then lucian + zyra were kiting back so caitlyn couldnt get in range. Then a TP from top lane behind the caitlyn as well as mid collapsing already. Imo caitlyn made the right play. You try to get back to tower and you disengage off that fight. Alistair is already gnna die to the 2v1 with mid collapsing and a top TP behind you. That was a messy fight all around for ANX though. Their own top was so late to TP. Everytime caitlyn tried to engage into that fight their was just no chance of success. Maybe a little damage but there was no kill given how out of position every1 on ANX was Edit: Also wanted to add that even though they may not "master" a champion they are/still should be proficient enough to use them but i will agree they can still be not up to par as the rest of the players in their role at a certain champ. Like NA's pretend carry ezreal. While yes they are good/great with it. They aren't up to par with the lck/lpl who i'm sure play it a lot more in their regions.
