Writing Question

I wrote a fanfic about a year ago involving a videogame I liked and a lot of people I showed it thought it was really great writing wise. I don't know why I stopped but I might pick it up in the future. What I was curious is knowing if putting it here and getting feed back would help? I know this is an anime forums and my fanfic is a video game fanfiction but I was just curious if I won't get in trouble for that. (New here lol).
