Matches - How long should it take them to appear?

So I've been a member for exactly 24 hours pretty much, but I haven't gotten any matches? Is this normal? I totally understand if it takes awhile, but the format of that link has changed and the message saying I have to wait went away so I'm a little confused.

The match system on the site is basically broken and useless even if youre a paying member. Even if it were working, it'd match you with mostly profiles that haven't logged-in in eons with no way to edit them out. Not to mention, matching people by what anime you like seems kinda pointless.

If you put yourself out there, youre going to obviously get a lot of creepers, with the chance of some nice guys. My advice, be active on the forums; you'll, for the most part, know whos legit and who's a creeper.* *Note this isn't 100%, but you have a higher chance of meeting a legit person who is active.

Jiko is right. Don't trust the matches. Get to know people on the forum then start talking. Most of the time crazies stay out of the forums and lurk in the match system and random girl's dms.
