Mostly all forms of rock, metal, and techno. Just to name my favorites. A band I suggest and suggested to another on an introduction is Mindless self Indulgence. You kinda have to have a special mind set for them though, but if you like FLCL there are good amv's on youtube with their songs.

P-lander Z!!! Should check them out if your into the J-stuff. They came to a local venue of mine, very cool guys.
