だれが日本語をはなせるの?

light323
はじめまして!!ぼくは新しい人を会いたい。ぼくの友達が日本語をはなせないLol。ぼくはちょっと日本語をはなせる。ぼくの日本語はちょっと悪いとおもうXD。ぼくもまんがとアニメがすき。いまぼくはカリフォルニアですんでいる。でも、ぼくは日本にすんでいたい^^

No I can't, but Google can translate pretty well! :) I plan on working on my Japanese soon, though. It would be a waste for my Japanese audiopack (CD + book of phrases, etc) to go to waste since I just bought it two days ago. I already watch some anime without subtitles and try to understand what is being said and such (I generally do a good job, but that's because I have a gist of the characters from watching with subs). I'd suggest traveling to Japan for a month or so before making a final decision about living there. It's not quite as perfect as anime and manga make it sound.

I took all the Japanese classes that they offer at college but I'm starting to forget some vocab lol -_- None of my friends can't speak it and it sucks that I can't talk to someone that knows the language. I tried to teach myself Japanese when I first started but it wasn't good enough. I think if you ever get a chance to take a japanese class it would help you a lot.

Unfortunately, I don't have a chance to take classes in college without pushing myself back a year for graduation (or at least a semester). I'm trying to teach myself some on my own. I got an audio pack (CD with Japanese pronunciation and a book with translations. The translations aren't on the CD, so it makes good translation practice) and was surprised at how much I could translate without looking at the written translation. It's not a lot, but it is definitely enough to understand small talk. I think it would be kind of interesting to be a translator for subs or manga in my free time, or at least be able to watch/read the raw versions.
