Are you dependent on your family? If so, I'd try feeling it out first to see what kind of reactions you might get. After running a few simulations in your head, and if you're fine with all the possible outcomes, just go for it. In the worst case scenario that they kick you out or cut off school funding, maybe wait until you're independent... Then tell them to fuck off. If you're not dependent on your family for any reason, I'd say just go for it right away.

People are different, and whether they are parents or not doesn't change that. For example: After you look up where I'm from, you're gonna lol hard after I tell you that my parent (yeah I have only 1 but duh), doesn't judge couples of the same gender at all...actually supports them. And so do I, mainly because I feel that true love shouldn't come from natural attraction but from affection to somebody as a person....or for the spiritual types: as a soul. As for the telling your parents thing....if they're uber hardcore against it. Well the only thing you can do is wait till you're completely independent and then go your own way from there. But honestly, if you know that your parents truly love you. Which btw you should kinda have a general vibe at your age about that already even if you don't communicate with them too much, then maybe it's worth spilling the beans even though you're not really guilty and didn't do anything wrong. >_>
