I do have to admit that it was either the second games combat system or the third games combat system that was so drastic of a change and so difficult for me to try and figure out that I almost quit at the very beginning of the game. Whichever one it was I think it was the one where suddenly you had to break the opponent's guard to basically do any damage Beyond a piddling amount.

The third game was a simple jrpg battle system so it was probably the second game pissed of a lot fans due to battle system change and then they the character design art style which was the games down fall cause the damage episode 2 dud 3 didn't sell very well and they terminated
