No it isn't LOL. I just don't have the time to play the games I already have that I haven't finished let alone replaying such a long yet awesome series! XD But yeah that battle system ugh! Now imagine trying to suddenly change up into that battle system. I mean it's bad trying to go into that from the get-go I'm sure but then trying to adapt to a new battle system such as that is pretty crappy too. I almost gave up playing this series because of that system. It's the one with the Staggering and each enemy has a specific staggering pattern and you can even hurt them unless you stagger them first right? It took me a good while to get used to that. I kept losing that very first fight so many times. I probably failed it 15 times in a row! I haven't played in gears yet. I had the Playstation systems for a little bit now but I was quite late to the party with the PlayStation. I started out with Xbox as a Christmas gift and when the Next Generation came around when I started looking 4 new games I noticed that there was only about two games and I was interested in with the 360 but with the backwards compatible PS3 I immediately had around 15 games I could play and that was just at the beginning so who knew how many more games I would enjoy with further PS3 releases on top of the 15 PS2 games that I could play!

oh crap i missed out some villians shoot me and i see i cant get a pyshical copy of gears due region lock how ever i want to get one as part of my of collection and im playing gears through a psx emulator on my phone its pretty cool i will try avoid spoilers but saga has alot of gears refrence and are even linked in the same universe as a prequel/ alternate time line also in episode im inside momo's brain where im fighting gnosis type monsters and every fight feels like a regular boss fight in a regular rpg i hate it so much i have been close to destroying my ps2 because of that system i also kinda hate moniloth soft as they released 2 only in europe and fucked us on 1 and 3 T_T so cruel they gave us the worst game in that franchise

Yeah that really sucks man. At least you can play it somewhat though. Oh yeah I forgot about that part. I don't remember encountering many boss-like fights there but I might have done a bit of grinding so might be why. I do remember that there were some that I definitely tried to avoid whenever possible xD It's interesting to note that from the first game to the third game while KOS-MOS gains more clothing each game, Shion loses clothing each game lol.
