Old Soul

Is it possible to be born old? Many children may think That their grandparents Were born like this That they are meant to be old To take care if the bold Not to see what the youth can see But what about the soul? Can a child feel old? Can jazz and old films Show the past and nostalgy That the children have never seen? Why is it possible That a young girl Can miss the times She never had before? Or when a young man Wishes for his wife To live a little bit more More than he can even go? Are human beigns Always like this? Forever young at their hearts And at the same time - Beign old souls? 11.7.2015

That's an interesting poem. I think it holds some truth in a way. People can have different levels of maturity or understanding that do not match their physical age. Aye, thanks for criticism and correcting my misspelling! The other line is more of artistic choice, I wanted to have string stressed "he" put in beginning so that other feet and rhythm will feel like fading away.
