I really hope re:zero season 2 gets another myth & roid opening. I like their songs, opening #2 was amazing and nostalgic. But these isekai anime are starting to get a little overused. "I cant come up with an original idea so im just gonna make these guys get transported to another world." You guys know you can have them START out in this world and just idk lose their memory or something like that. Re:zero should have been the last isekai. Alot of the newer ones just seem like clones of log horizon, SAO, re:zero, overlord. They arent original....except shield hero they had an original idea

^Most of the isekais that are coming out actually aren't even new. They're adaptions of light novels that have been going on for a while now actually. The isekai boom happened with light novels like 5+ years back, then those light novels got manga adaptions, and then finally anime adaptions now. The main problem is that they're just not really adapting any of the good isekai like Shield Hero, I'm actually amazed how many throwaway unmemorable isekai LNs have gotten adaptions, like for a very recent example: Kenja no Mago/Wise Man's Grandchild (not sure why they didn't translate it to "The Sage's granchild" tbh)? that is definitely one of the super weak and uninspired ones for sure. With a dude that get's isekai'd and then is OP for no reason outside of being the MC, harem elements, etc But then you had the more interesting ones too like Knight's & Magic, Tanya the Evil, etc. I'm personally still waiting for a Mushoku Tensei anime adaption. :u

styx helix is one of the few anime openings that i can say wow this song is fucking sick like, not just for an anime opening but the song is ACTUALLY something I listened to A LOT
