@criselington never too late, I would recommend starting with Rouge one and the OG trilogy first though then the prequels if you wanna go further, and ignore the sequel trilogy plz

I watched a video last night talking about how big the Saruman death scene was originally and how it was meant to be in Return of the King instead of Two Towers. Not to mention a lot of the dialogue was cut with it. Jackson said upon reviewing it was like Two Towers had no good ending without Saruman dying. Apparently the editing choice of Peter Jackson clashed with the artistic view of Christopher Lee and caused a rift in their friendship. 8[ sucks because they seemed to have this great relationship, and all be bros. I don't know how much time each individual actor invested into filming but Jackson dedicated 10 years to the trilogy. It makes me sad to think they were still on bad terms when Lee died.
