Random thoughts...

If there are girls called April, May and June, why is July pronounced 'jool-ee' as a name and 'joo-lie' as a month when all the others are pronounced the same either way??? (ಠ_ಠ) And don't get me started on the months- July and August are imposter months. sept = 7, oct = 8, nov = 9 and dec = 10. The calendar should only have 10 months but Julius (July) Ceasar and Augustus (August) inserted their own names into the calendar. I hate it because it breaks the whole logical naming scheme. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ At the same time though, it is probably the most successful case of an individual leaving a mark on human society, as that was about 2000 years ago and most people don't question why the naming and logic don't actually match. Still though, if I had my way we'd be going back to the 10 month calendar.

GD, Nope, it's progressing (To what? I couldn't tell ya, it all looks chaotic to me.). You, though, you're experiencing that good o'l existential quarter life crisis. It's happened to pretty much everyone I know, including myself. The problem is, we build up some sort of greatness about being an adult, when we're kids, but in reality it's just more responsibility and stress with the illusion of being able to do as you please. It feels like the same stuff every day because it mostly is. Most don't live some sort of exciting Hollywood life, most are just trying to survive and hopefully build little by little for their hopeful future. That whole process of building is rather slow and mundane for most, but it doesn't have to be all consuming. You're never to old for hobbies, taking walks,fishing or anything to just let your mind escape for even just a moment.

Existential crisis, let's dig up a definition, shall we? "An existential crisis is a moment at which an individual questions if their life has meaning, purpose, or value. It may be commonly, but not necessarily, tied to depression or inevitably negative speculations on purpose in life." First thing that pops up on my search and I think it kind of fits what you said.

Years ago in middleschool, every kid thought I was just the shy kid in class. One year ago I started therapy for depressions and social anxiety :)
