@xinmage Well, my twin brother died a few weeks before our birthday, and as I have always tried to hide myself away on my birthdays in the past, I kept getting pestered this time around by people who pretended to be concerned for me, but were really just trying to use me as a coping mechanism for my brother's loss. I think I'd have been a lot less lonely if they let me be alone that day. But Happy 'I survived another year day', man!

The brain is an amazing thing, awareness for example. I have trained myself to recognize the distinct auditory shifts in my environment. Similar to how blind people gain a heightened sense of hearing due to loss of sight. You can sort of hear the sound waves shift when something is blocking that general direction. For example the printer is printing, the printer is loud, someone stands in the path between the printer and myself. I dont have to physically look to know someone is there. I can hear it. The best way i have tried to learn this was by pretending im an animal. Animals move their ears to hear in a specific direction. But you have to focus.
