^^^ Darkscape has been closed. There is now RS3, Oldschool RS (re-release of the 07 servers), and Seasonal Deadman Mode.

There's a lot of anime-like mmos out there like Aura Kingdom, Elsword, or Mabinogi if you're looking for anything like that P:

It really depends on what type of games you are into. Do you want a first person perspective while battling evil creatures? Play the first three Halo games and Half-Life. Do you want to command entire armies and/or conquer the globe? Try Total War or Dawn of War. Want a third person perspective while taking on choices that effect the outcome of the game later on or even in sequels? Play Mass Effect or Dragon Age (but not Dragon Age 2). If you want to play basic adventure games with cut scenes and sticking the anime themes, play either the Tales series or select games from the Final Fantasy catalog. (If you want an MMO, play Final Fantasy 14, but you will need to cough up $12 a month, plus $20 for the initial game). Or if all else play a bloodbath, play Gears of War.

Dark souls is a very beginner friendly game! https://66.media.tumblr.com/534d955bbf218d81e8c6ab86a965674e/tumblr_nwl23bbqLW1tyty4uo1_250.gif I'm just kidding. I would suggest some of the Elder Scrolls games, Path of Exile (if you like hack and slash MMOs), Garry's Mod (if into physics), or any of the Borderlands games. There are many more, and if you want more suggestions, feel free to message me! https://media.giphy.com/media/mPOyOUNCGUCJy/giphy.gif

I quickly went through the comments so I might of missed someone saying the game, but I suggest Blade & Soul. Sweet, sexy, amazing, beautiful. Words I would used for the person I will eventually love. That is how I would describe this game. I suck at MMOs, so you'll be fine as a beginner. Most of the people are friendly and quite helpful. I wish my main computer worked so I could go back to that game.

Oh, I guess this has some impact as well. What game systems do you have? What are the specs on your computer? I ask because if you don't play games, you may not have a computer that can handle some of the games that were suggested.

Maplestory's pretty fun for casual "MMORPG" gaming

Try out Tomb Raider.

azumakazuma is right. If you don't have the "right" computer, then your gaming experience is going to suck REALLY hard.
