Beginner!

I've never really been much into gaming, however I really want to try! What's a good online game for a beginner like me?

The first one who now writes Leauge of Legends needs 10 slaps in his/her/its face.... I think its dependable about what you want to try out Nekochi...What would you like to do in the game? Building, Roleplaying, Managing stuff, Simulate a work and many other stuff else...you want to play mostly alone or together with others...is there something you know you dont want to play?

Oh man, I didn't realize just how many different types... well I use to play runescape years ago... so maybe something like that, or something like fable? I mean I'm not opposed to trying something new.

A lot of my suggestions are for single player games, but since you want to try something new, I'll throw em out here anyway. If you want some simple games with a lot of color and variety, you can go with any of the Rayman games. Another really good one is Gurumin. If you want to try a shooter style game, Gocco of War is a pretty good place to start, it's an online third person shooter with chibi style characters. The community is small, but pretty nice too. If you want something with a bit more style to it, you can try Jet Set Radio, there's really nothing else like it. My honest opinon? If you have the money, buy yourself a Nintendo 3DS, or one of the older models. There are many games to choose from, and you're bound to find something you'll like.

Gta online, kidding XD I'm I recommend Tamriel Online (heard they fixed it), world of warcraft if you don't mind a monthly subscription, monster hunter if you're into 3ds, Skyrim/Fallout(any except 1 and 2 because they are hard for even for me) of you like a game like fable, Diablo 3(if you want easy access to multi-player) or 2, TERA there you go that's the name, and Fate, maybe?

Phantasy Star Online 2 :)

Tree of Savior is an MMO on steam in early access last checked. It has an oldie feel to it and is really easy to start playing if you're new. It has a super in-depth class system though. That complicates things quite a bit, but it also lets you make your character whatever you want it to be. I second the Diablo 3 recommendation as well.

Path to exile is a free version of Diablo 3, but it's less friendly to new players and not quite as pretty. Spiral knights is a free online dungeon(?) crawling adventure game. I think they fixed the crystal limitations so that it's not so much of a money-grab.

I second Tera, I picked it up a while back. I too am an old runescape player, so you could always look at runescape again they keep updating it with new features so its still a good game. Plus they released a spinoff of runescape called darkscape that focuses on trade running and pvp-ish style playing (basically a dark version of runescape) but it's still set in the same world as runescape.
