Pokemon Sun and Moon

Popplio doesn't seem to be a bad starter to me. It's a little goofy looking admittedly although personally I feel all three are like that. I'm curious on final evolution and typing on all three starters

Some of the comments here make me think my type might not be welcomed in this thread lol I'm a competitive battler and I tend to look at things in the game in the sense of how they will fit into the meta. With that said I'm excited for a new playthrough and I think the starters are fine. I want that damn owl lol

I don't know which of the 2 games to get. Fire's my favourite element, hence why I choose fire type starters. But I like the Moon more than the Sun. I also prefer darker colours. Even though Solgaleo is not fire type (seriously, the hell?) it doesn't discourage me too much. Probably best to just wait and see what other version exclusives there are first.
