That sucks. It seems like she really has it in her head that you do like her (which you can hold back obviously) but I guess she doesn't think friendship will work even though it's worked for quite awhile by the sound of it.

Talk to her? Other than that there's nothing you can do. The truth is what you believe it to be. Or maybe that friend of both of you is just misinformed. Otherwise I wouldn't know why she doesn't believe you if she believed you once.
