Harvest Moon series.

I really love this series and well Story of Seasons has turned out to be one of my favorite games ever. Though it does suck that natsume has the rights the to harvest moon name and Xseed can't use it. XD

I've played a couple of the games but I still loved them and I really think it's a really good series. I would have gotten Story of Seasons myself but another lovely game series was out already. Rune Factory had just about everything from Harvest Moon and more. But sorry for getting off topic, my first game was 64 and I really enjoyed it, although I stumbled like crazy wondering how to make the most of my time and what the heck everyone liked. Second and final game was Friends of Mineral Town. Now that I spent a TON of time on trying to build up my farm and wooing the girls and seeing the special events and rival events, and trying to win the next contest. At the very least, Marvelous is giving fans another Story of Seasons game. Only time will tell if it comes over to the west. http://youtu.be/VZnm6CE0FT0

My first game was friends of mineral town. My favorite games are more friends of mineral town, animal parade, a new beginning, and story of seasons. I found out about harvest moon by going to toysrus as a kid and asking for a game similar to animal crossing, the guy at the counter gave me friends of mineral town and then began my harvest moon obsession.

I love all HM games, especially new beginnings. But the story/romance side is a bit lacking which is making me sad. RF4 was good story wise but the farming side of things is a bit ugh. Have you tried Stardew Valley? What do you think about it.

My first one was the first one on super Nintendo. Missed quite a few games, got Save the homeland......did not really care for that one. I had two on the DS, but misplaced them somewhere. But my two favorites have been Tree of Tranquility and Story of Seasons. I still consider that harvest moon.
